As the competition draws to an end, the Super Six paid a courtesy visit to the official sponsors of the show, MTN Nigeria at the head office. Staff and Executive members were all happy to meet and take photographs with the Super Six.
In the words of General Montgomery, “the capacity and the will to rally men and women to a common purpose and the character which inspires confidence” is leadership.
After being in the Academy for forty-nine days, the mantle of leadership falls on Winner. In her campaign speech, she stated that if elected the new captain, contestants will commence prayer and fasting in the Academy. Isn’t that interesting?
As the competition draws to an end with few weeks remaining, the contestants have started preparing for individual song compositions. Renowned Nigerian producer, musician and songwriter, Cobhams Asuquo visited the Academy in a joint session with Ms Ige. They both had an intensive class with the contestants, focusing on what it takes to be a good song writer, highlighting the requirements and the need for uniqueness. Also on their list are book reading to broaden choice of words and improve lyrics.
